One afternoon last week, I was putting away clean laundry with Eli roaming around at my feet. Our bedroom faces west across a valley and the slanted light coming into the windows gave the whole room a sort of glow. I grabbed my camera and started clicking away. Later that night when I downloaded the images, my heart caught on this one.
Eli looks like such a little boy in this image. The baby is truly beginning to recede.

My primary camera is a Canon EOS Digital Rebel T5 with a Sigma DC 18-200mm lens (1:3.5-6.3) or Canon EFS 18-55mm lens. On occasion I also use my iPhone 6. For crisper images (when I'm not in a hurry to grab the shot), I use a Dolica Proline B100 tripod. I often tweak my images using Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.
