Since September, we've been attending a weekly playgroup at Epworth United Methodist Church. It is a bit of a drive for us, but so worth it! Eli and I call it "Epworth School" because he's learning so many things that will help him get ready for preschool someday. We see the same families each week, which helps build friendships. The kids learn skills from each other but also how to get along well.
Epworth has a fabulous collection of educational books, puzzles, and toys. I get a kick out of seeing Eli learn how to do new things. I like watching his interests blossom too. Sometimes I'm surprised at what captivates his attention.
This mama also loves that there's one day a week that art projects don't mean extra cleanup at home.
Eli is learning to stay seated and be patient during snacktime. He loves drinking from a real cup too.
At circle time, he is learning to take turns and listen to others but also lots of fun new songs. (We love the Popcorn Song we learned at Epworth!)
And then there's learning how to play Ring Around the Rosie....
So much to love about Epworth! Eli's favorite thing? Maybe toy laundry fun.
But maybe Eli's very favorite thing is the tiny sink in the bathroom just his size.
Love it, love it, love it!!! Thanks
