Day 1 of 26: Travis AFB to South Lake Tahoe

The RV is fired up and ready to go.  Granddad is driving and Eli is riding shotgun (along with Pat the Bunny)...

Despite taking our car in for early servicing before the start of our 26-day cross-country trip, the very first morning we discovered our door locks were no longer working.  Brian drove the Honda to the nearest dealership (Carson City), while the rest of us continued to Lake Tahoe.  The suitcases -- and thus the bathing suits -- were in Nevada while we were in California.  Sigh.  NOT missing Lake Tahoe!  We went in clothes and all!

My primary camera is a Canon EOS Digital Rebel T5 with a Sigma DC 18-200mm lens (1:3.5-6.3) or Canon EFS 18-55mm lens. On occasion I also use my iPhone 6. For crisper images (when I'm not in a hurry to grab the shot), I use a Dolica Proline B100 tripod. I often tweak my images using Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.
