I do have some favorite books, ones that I wish I could find again and re-read, even if they aren't as great to me now as when I read them. One is My Side of the Mountain, about a 7 or so year old boy who runs away from home (New York?), and lives on his own in the mountains for a while: living off the land and befriending a falcon.... Another is Seven Alone. In this one, there are seven kids back in the stage coach days when families were moving west. In this particular family, the parents were killed and the seven kids had to survive by themselves, find their way to claim land..... You can probably see a similar theme here :) I wish I could get serious and look for these on Amazon or ebay! On a more serious note, I did find and get the wonderful Monster at the End of this Book (title right?).

Tonia

My favorite bedtime book is "Close Your Eyes" by Kate Banks and we also like "Noah's Aardvark" by Mary Jane Auch. Favorite series around here include Fancy Nancy, Skippyjon Jones and If You Give a Pig a Pancake. For a good read-aloud chapter book (although with only one illustration per chapter), my girls have loved the Magic Treehouse series. Diana started hearing that one when she was four and LOVED it.

(Thanks for the inspiration to go through a hidden box of mostly books. :))

Oooo, I love to hear what others are reading! Thanks, Tonia and AM!

My primary camera is a Canon EOS Digital Rebel T5 with a Sigma DC 18-200mm lens (1:3.5-6.3) or Canon EFS 18-55mm lens. On occasion I also use my iPhone 6. For crisper images (when I'm not in a hurry to grab the shot), I use a Dolica Proline B100 tripod. I often tweak my images using Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.
