Great post following the deeply moving one from yesterday! I try to treasure moments and be present where I am (having a child helps me focus that). We went for a walk in the rain the other night, because Pia asked to and I couldn't think of a good reason not to. While on our walk, a neighbor gifted Pia an old umbrella she had from when her (now grown) children were little; Pia was thrilled. Such a great moment, and it happened because I said Yes instead of No. I also love the (new to me) idea that heaven is made up of what we appreciate on earth.

Val, thanks for the great and painful feelings you expressed Tues. and the wonderful response you spoke of today.
Glad you did it. Being Gramdma gives me years of personal feelings just by being alive. Life is FULL! When I met you I could tell Brian was fully alive once again. What a JOY for me to see!! I am constantly aware of how happy you 2 are. And then a little more than 41/2 yrs. ago you both gave us sweet, cute little Eli guy. Our treasure too!!! Love to all 3 of you,
Grandma/ Wynnette/ Mom

My primary camera is a Canon EOS Digital Rebel T5 with a Sigma DC 18-200mm lens (1:3.5-6.3) or Canon EFS 18-55mm lens. On occasion I also use my iPhone 6. For crisper images (when I'm not in a hurry to grab the shot), I use a Dolica Proline B100 tripod. I often tweak my images using Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.
